Worlds Top Yachts - The Utopia

From the first plans to build the superyacht Utopia, Feadship knew they were in for a huge job. Utopia was originally designed to be a 58-meter yacht, but the owner had a desire for a much larger ship full to the brim with top-level content.
The customer urged Feadship to lengthen to ship to 71.60-meters, thus making this one of the most complex ship construction projects in history. Aboard the Utopia, there are six decks which are all completely decked out with the latest innovative technologies and all the correct ultra-lavish comforts for the mega-rich.
It took very careful and precise work to build the Utopia, and the painstaking craftsmanship reflects on every single square inch of the finished product.
The level of finish leaves most astonished at the intricate detail. On an aesthetics level, Utopia reprises some solutions already successfully expressed by De Voogt Naval Architects, and also for Feadship. Rounded lines form the bow of the upper deck, and plenty of glass is set between the decks, making the ship appear more like a floating office building from a distance.
The exterior's features give the yacht a “slimmed down” look for its extreme size. The multiple panes of glass also work to give this ship a lot of natural lighting. The bow is rather appealing, and the stern is beautifully integrated in side view with the forms of the upper bridges, which are basically dedicated to open air.
The interiors of the ship are the works of the Redman, Dixon, and Whiteley design team who developed the entire middle deck to be exclusively used by the ship's owner. The owner's cabin features a breathtaking view from the forward windows and a terrace with a Jacuzzi. The terrace also has beautiful deck chairs and sun-beds.
The en suite bathroom of the owner's cabin features a second Jacuzzi, a shower, two washbasins, and the WC in a separate room. Aft on the port side, you have a great wardrobe room followed by a mirrored gym, which is equipped with a service area and kitchen. On the starboard side, you have a large furnished room with a TV and other devices.
The next level up is the beautiful wheelhouse deck. Above a spectacular bridge there is the captain's cabin, the captain's office, and a series of various service rooms, including one in which the sophisticated audio-visual systems are carefully managed. The opened part of the deck aft is a helicopter pad that is equipped with a military-derived system for rapid and safe blocking of the aircraft, even in bad weather conditions.
For guests aboard the ship, there are VIP cabins on the main deck, with a guest lobby, a large pantry, and two galleys with refrigerators and a range of professional accessories. On the same level, you will find the dining room and main saloon; both extend the complete width of the vessel. Every conceivable detail of the Utopia is beautifully crafted. Anyone on board will be in complete luxury at all times.
