South Africa is becoming one of the more popular places to visit in the world. With new casino ventures and a wealth of development opportunity, tourists are flocking to the country in large numbers. For many visitors of South Africa, seeing the wild and native game is among the top things to do.
Singita Game Reserves is a one of a kind, top of the line series of resorts that brings visitors an up close and personal view of game in its natural habitat. The location is incredible, the ambiance is very personable yet magnificent, and the game drives are utterly unbeatable. It's no mystery why Singita Game Reserves is one of the more popular tourist destinations in all of Africa. Consistently voted high on everyone's best destination list, Singita is sure to win over even the harshest critic.
The word Singita means place of miracles. And to witness the breathtaking scenery of the resort is indeed miraculous. Through a private airport, guests are taken to the destination of their choice, where they are then greeted by the meek looking rooms which sit upon a vast and elegant terrain.
At first glance, the accommodations at Singata appear to be huts, but once you step inside, you'll see first hand just how much thought and detail went into the completion of each masterful room. The original Singita (there are now four separate resorts) is the Sabi Sand, or the Private Game Reserve. The resort is comprised of three styles (12 total lodges) of mega-luxurious safari lodges: Colonial Ebony, Boulders, and Castleton. They sit bordering the Kruger National Park, and offer extraordinary views.
The staff of the resort consists of knowledgeable and likeable game rangers, world-class chefs, and a dedicated and experienced resort-staff. The rooms are open and airy, and boast a huge deck, brilliantly designed interiors, master baths, plush and lavish furniture, beautiful artwork, and more.
The 35,000- wine cellar offers guests a taste of any part of the world they so choose, and brings a high-class sophistication to the bush-laden landscape of Singita. This resort provides the ultimate in safari experience, and each lodge has its own identity and styling.
The Boulders lodge features elegant comfort with an eclectic mix of colors, textures, and fabrics. The huge wooden deck is adorned with comfortable furniture that sits alongside a spectacular pool. The Boulders features indoor and outdoor showers, double-sided fireplaces, min-bar, and more. The Ebony and Castleton also offer most of the same luxuries. The rooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, hi-speed internet access and telephones, among many other luxuries. The resort also has a library, a spa, a gymnasium, and a bar area.
Guests of the Singita are witnesses to some of Africa's most outstanding wonders: the wildlife. Forget that you're staying in absolute luxury, and take a day to “rough it” in the wilderness. The trip of a lifetime won't even put a dint in your life savings either. For a full day and nights stay, you're looking at just over $1,000 USD. When compared to other resorts that don't offer half of what Singita does, it's truly a bargain.
