World's Most Luxurious Resorts - The Rania Experience

The Indian Ocean is considered by many tourists to be one of the most beautiful vacation destinations in the world. Entrepreneurs made sure to capitalize on this tropical area and its crystal clear waters when they transformed a small plume of white sand into a private island and one of the most luxurious resorts in the area – the Rania Experience.
The Rania Experience isn’t named necessarily for the “castaway” feel of the small island, but actually for the large 86-foot yacht that sails guests around the waters of the Maldives. All together, the yacht and the exclusive resort make for a vacation “experience” and not simply the usual getaway.
The island is nestled in the middle of the Indian Ocean and remains hidden from much of the outside world. Even famous guests of the island find that the usually sneaky photographers are nowhere to be found this far out into the ocean. It makes a nice locale for guests enjoying the freedom of both privacy and the land/sea choice.
At only 7 acres, this island, known as the Water Garden, is absolutely overrun with tropical growth. Coconut trees and natural plant life remain untouched for the most part, and the lagoon on the island is said to be one of a kind. The state-of-the-art buildings look like they were built by people of the area from the outside, but inside tells a completely different tale.
For starters, everything’s set up to provide the ultimate in privacy. Only 9 people can vacation with the Rania Experience at a time, and the number is usually even lower than that too.
There are three luxurious beachfront villas on the actual Water Garden Island. The style is traditional Maldivian and all villas feature an open and airy layout, thatched roofs, sofa swings, a large master bedroom with a king-sized bed, open air bathrooms with a Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower, a bar deck, plasma televisions, and much more.
There’s also an entertainment pavilion on the island, featuring a large home theater, laptops, videogame consoles, game boards, a billiards table, iPods, and many more luxuries that most wouldn’t expect to find by looking at the outside construction of the island’s villas. There’s also a pool and spa area.
Guests don’t have to stay on the island, either. It’s an all-round experience, with the Rania yacht also offering luxury accommodations. Aboard Rania, guests can enjoy four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, king-sized beds, big-screen televisions, and other modern amenities. The yacht also features an open air BBQ, Jacuzzi, in/outdoor lounging areas, and more.
Like most luxury private resorts, the Rania Experience also features a well-trained staff willing to wait on all guests 24/7. This includes concierge service, a personal butler, private chefs (aboard the yacht), and professional spa therapists to cater to any guest seeking spa treatments.
The price of a one-night stay on the island is fairly expensive. One couple can expect to pay around $9,500 per night, and an extra $500 for each individual guest.
