World's Most Luxurious Hotels - Palazzo Verace on the Gold Coast, Australia

Australias Gold Coast is certainly one of the most popular vacation destinations in the world. With an average of over 240 days of sunshine every year, the sub-tropical climate of the Gold Coast is appealing to almost every vacationer. So when Versace wanted to build a luxury resort, Australias sunny locale was the perfect spot for it.
The Palazzo Versace is easily the best fashion-brand resort in existence. Other popular names in fashion have tried the same branching out, but have failed with overtly cheesy efforts to brand their name on subpar properties. With the Palazzo, guests are treated to the epitome of luxury and elegance in a location that speaks for itself.
The outside view of the Palazzo Versace alone is enough to make any reputable list of top resorts. With towering palm trees, luxurious pools and separate buildings overlooking the spectacularly clear harbor, the property can be described as nothing less than breathtaking.
Inside, guests get to experience the type of luxury that only Versace could offer and pull off. The vivid and ornate reception is certainly eye-opening. Gigantic golden columns take up much of the floor space, and they contrast the pink marble floors and green pastel sofas nicely. The style of the resort certainly matches with the style of Versaces fashion.
There are seven types of room located at the Palazzo Versace, each being unique and elegant. The Superior Room is like your basic hotel on steroids, featuring elegant furnishings, an in-suite bathroom and a large king-size or two double beds. The Superior Suite is the next size up, and features a larger room with a private spa and separate shower.
Next up is the Lagoon Room: a large room with a terrace overlooking the resorts heated lagoon. The Deluxe Suite is almost twice the size of the Superior Suite and features a separate lounge and dining area with a sofa bed and walk-in wardrobe. The Broadwater Suite boasts the same features as the Deluxe, but offers a view of the Gold Coast.
With the Broadwater Suites, guests get to enjoy a large room combining all the features of previous suites. It gets the name Broadwater for the view of the Gold Coast it offers. The Imperial Suite also offers spectacular views of the Gold Coast and provides 160 square meters of living space.
The Condominium Suites are the crme de la crme of the Palazzo Versace. These suites are available in 2-bedroom, standard and 3-bedroom sizes, and condo suites are also available near the Plunge Pool and on the roof, via the Rooftop Terrace with Spa suites.
Palazzo Versace also offers four impressive restaurants at the resort, as well as a pool bar. Guests can choose to dine at Vanitas, Vie, Il Barocco or Le Jardin. Each restaurant looks out at different parts of the Coast and offers up different styles of cuisine.
Theres plenty of room at this large resort. Palazzo Versace caters to businesspeople looking to hold conferences; they also host weddings and have golf courses, boats, helicopter tours and other activities available.
