Top Las Vegas Shows - Fantasy at The Luxor Atrium

There are hundreds of shows one can find on the Las Vegas Strip. The real question comes down to your particular tastes. Do you like comedy? Maybe the arts? Or are your tastes a little more provocative? If so, there’s nothing like a topless Vegas show to scratch that naughty itch – and Fantasy is currently Vegas’ most visually stimulating.
Fantasy is currently playing every night at 10:30 p.m. via the Luxor’s Atrium Showroom. The show’s been going on for a while, and to date, Fantasy has never lacked a loyal following. Maybe it’s the actual production quality of the show that keeps people coming back. But it’s far more likely that the nude women are packing seats.
The show is pitched in a straightforward manner, and it doesn’t really deviate from its adverts. Fantasy is as close to truth in advertizing as you’ll probably find in Las Vegas. It’s promoted as a half trashy, half classy topless revue, where racy women dance, sing and entertain the folks at a frenetic pace.
Perhaps the separating factor of Fantasy is the actual emphasis the show’s directors’ place on the women. Sad to say, but most nude Vegas reviews toss together a harem of noticeably augmented women, with caked on makeup to boot, and simply let the flesh sell itself. With Fantasy, only the cream of the crop makes the cut.
This means that the women performing in the Luxor show are certainly high quality. They’re the type of actual models you would find in old Vegas showgirl routines – something that Sin City has let fall by the wayside in recent decades. Fantasy brings this back, in a small way, with their well choreographed and sensual show.
The premise of the show is rather simplistic. The lead character, singer/MC Stephanie Jordan, takes guests on eight separate “fantasy” journeys, all of which feature singing and dancing performances from the show’s actors. It starts off with a bang and pretty much keeps that same momentum throughout – with some routines better than others, of course.
The first fantasy takes place in some strange industrial scene. Truthfully, it’s hard to grasp exactly what’s going on. Things get a little on the trippy side, and may bring to mind some Beatles’ records, but it is clear that every scenario is supposedly a dream-like state with nude dancers, a fantastic singer and some pretty good moves to tie it all in.
Other fantasies in the show include a bedroom threesome (every guy’s favorite, supposedly), an S&M dance between the women performers that’s totally risqué, even for Vegas, and other thought provoking fantasy sequences.
While the girls aren’t taking their tops off and dancing around, the crowd is kept in stitches by a great comedic impersonator named Sean Copper. He does a great Sammy Davis, Jr. impression.
A good seat for Fantasy is going to cost a little over 50 bucks, but the intimate setting of the theater pretty much ensures that you’ll have a good seat. So, all in all, it’s a fair price for a pretty entertaining show.
