The Kee Shanghai Private Members Club

In Hong Kong, the KEE Private Members club has always been amongst the top attractions for the rich and famous. The well-to-do clientele of this club have experienced some of the finest luxury and concierge service via this brand of luxury salon. The private member scenario was something admired by Shanghai for years, and finally, after a long wait, KEE has brought its elegant style to Shanghai's doors and given the city its own KEE Private Members club.
KEE Shanghai offers the same unique luxury of KEE Hong Kong, which has been so instrumental at drawing in huge business for the area. Some very famous people are members of the KEE club, including heads of state, film directors, and celebrities like Michael Jordan, Jude Law, Mick Jagger, Ron Wood, Sting, and many, many more. KEE's private club is sort of an Elk or Moose Lodge for the world's most popular.
KEE Shanghai is located behind an ultra-elegant grand stone entrance and iron gates at Haui Hai Road in Shanghai. KEE Shanghai resides in a beautiful heritage mansion, Twin Villas, from the 1920s, and shares the location with Richemont Shanghai headquarters. Inside of the KEE club, beautiful, natural wood staircases lead up the main area of the club, with elegant glass windows that let the sun light up the entire room during the day. The stained-glass windows were hand-crafted by some of the best artisans in the world. The floors of the club are all hardwood, the ceilings are very high, and the Euro-style lounge offers a relaxed and intimate climate for drinking and dining.
The overall ambiance of the KEE club is what entices people to seek membership. KEE's founders, Christian and Maria Rhomberg, knew that catering to a celebrity's sensibility for privacy and ultra-elegance would strike a nerve with even the most reclusive - hence celebrities like Michael Jordan. The club's restaurant is among the finest in the world, and head chef William Mahi is a widely acclaimed master of his craft.
The bar/fine-dining menu of the one-of-a-kind club has a selection of over 200 of the world's finest French wines, and an extensive selection of other spirits. Since KEE caters to the most exclusive clientele list in the world, only the finest selection of wines and liquors will do. The secluded outdoor gardens and private salons give guests the luxury and privacy they want. The spectacular selection of food and wine is a huge bonus to an already elaborately exclusive package one receives with membership.
Rates for this all-exclusive club aren't expensive as you may think, however. The membership fee for KEE Shanghai is available for 9,000RMB per year, and a joint membership for both KEE Shanghai and Hong Kong is available for 12,000RMB per year. This rate doesn't include the bill for dining and drinking, however; only for membership only access. 1 RMB is the equivalent of 15-cent USD.
