Stringfellow's - The Gentleman's Club That's A Cut Above The Rest

Stringfellow’s is currently one of the most popular night clubs in the UK. Now with two locations in London in the UK, and one in Paris, France, this line of clubs started by Peter Stringfellow has stood the test of time and is recognized the world over for offering a classy gentleman’s atmosphere that still manages to get down and dirty with wild parties and nude girls.
Peter Stringfellow was born to a modest family in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England in 1940 and lived in London as a child. This is where he picked the location for his first Stringfellow’s club, the now-famous Stringfellow’s at Covent Garden.
Offering more than average nude clubs with classier dancers and high-end clientele, this table-dancing club quickly became legendary. It wasn’t long before Peter took the plunge and opened up another club in London, Stringfellow’s Angels, but the original club remains the most popular and is where it all started. Stringfellow was no stranger to the business having owned and managed clubs before, like King Mojo, and his experience shines through in his London hot spot.
The entire idea behind the Stringfellow’s clubs is to provide a ritzier environment that basically offers the same entertainment you will find at a corner strip club. The difference, of course, comes through in the layout of the establishment, the quality of the dancers, as well as the clientele stopping in to enjoy the dancers.
The interior of the club is like the best of the Playboy Mansion-meets-chic Hollywood. The VIP stage booths are semi-private and enclosed in drapery, and guests are entertained by dancers while seated on cheetah skin, plush furniture. The private lounges are expanded VIP areas, featuring small stages for dancers, chandeliers and constant attention from both the dancers and the staff.Although Stringfellow’s is a gentleman’s club, it still features a high-quality restaurant. However, things are a little different, as one could imagine, and diners get a full view of the large main stage while enjoying their meals and drinks. The main showroom has the largest stage and also features two full bars.
The cheetah room at Stringfellow’s has become something of a legend, with celebrities from all over the world rumored to have stopped in and splurged on liquor and the dancers’ attentions. Overall, it’s hard to keep attentions on the interior and layout of the club with the plethora of dancers on location, but its popularity cannot be denied as evidenced by multiple Stringfellow’s locations.
In London, it’s been considered a rite of passage for young men to venture into Covent Garden’s most notorious gentleman’s club to see what all the fuss is about. The location has been popular for many years, and although it’s not quite as packed as it was a decade ago, people still flock from miles around to enter this establishment’s doors.
