Sin City Bad Girls Show in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is changing, almost everyone can see that - but try as they might to break free from the Sinatra era and the burlesque styles, show producers always find that classic appeal is where the money's at. Recently, Peepshow, a new take on a classic burlesque feature, opened and became an instant hit. Hoping to recreate the magic, the Las Vegas Hilton has just very recently opened their newest nude production, Sin City Bad Girls.
Sin City Bad Girls was created by Glenn Medas, a reputable entertainment exec, and Michael Chambers, an Emmy Award-winning choreographer. Both men know that there's a simple formula to getting a Vegas show off the ground: The women must be gorgeous.
For this, they went after a celebrity of the Vegas ilk - former Christina Aguilera impersonator of “American Superstars” fame, Lorena Peril. Behind Peril's good looks and incredible voice, the duo cast 7 other beautiful showgirls to complete the ensemble. Sin City Bad Girls is a visual and auditory treat from the start thanks to Peril and the ensuing eye candy.
To turn this show into an up-to-date, legitimate rock-fest, there's also a live band that plays behind Peril. The band plays a variety of tunes while Peril belts out popular hits from a host of genres, including rock, country, the blues, and top-40 pop. She has a voice for it all. Currently, Sin City Bad Girls is one of the only big production shows in Vegas using an actual live band.
The show opens with a bang. They hold nothing back as Peril starts to sing and the 7 topless dancers do what they do best: dance and tease the crowd. The show's premise tends to get lost in the all-out concert atmosphere and out-and-out showgirl expose, but it's entertaining nonetheless.
Peril announces that she will act as your tour guide as she begins to take you, with the use of song and some pleasant visual aid, through your innermost fantasies. Throughout the show, the girls dress in different fantasy-like outfits, including naughty nurse outfits and bedtime PJs.
The band is far from hidden in Sin City Bad Girls. They play an intricate part of the show. The three-piece ensemble is stacked on multi-level platforms on the stage. There are plenty of songs that really get the crowd excited, like “American Woman” from The Guess Who, and “Enter Sandman” from Metallica. There are also some softer tunes, like “Roxanne” from The Police.
Some parts of the show appear to be spontaneous but they're still fixed. Nevertheless, it doesn't damage the show's credibility. During a break, a male singer takes over while the girls go through a quick wardrobe change. After returning, the girls are dressed in skimpy cowgirl outfits. They then grab a man from the audience, tie him up in a chair, and sing Big and Rich's hit, “Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy.”
Sin City Bad Girls isn't your everyday topless Vegas show. Although they return to the burlesque roots, with the help of Peril, this show is an all-out rock concert. Tickets start at $55 and, of course, you must be 18 to enter.
