Real Interactive Entertainment in Las Vegas - Tony And Tina's Wedding

Taking a trip to Las Vegas today is like visiting some dreamscape wonderland, packed full of the biggest and brightest lights your mind could ever imagine. Most of Vegas is vastly new and improved, hoping to usher in a new generation of entertainment for a new generation of tourists and gamblers.
However, you can still find some tried-and-true traditional favorites if you look in the right places. One of Las Vegas biggest hits today has been a big hit for a long time, Tony and Tinas Wedding.
This show has been going on for years. Its basically an interactive wedding, inviting guests in to sit with either the bride (Tina) or the groom (Tony) and their respective families played by some really funny and talented actors. The shows success comes from its utter realness.
Although it is very slapstick in the sense that members can play along and interject some raunchy humor on top of the already-vulgar overtones, the premise comes across as very believable at times. Its the chemistry the cast has after working together for so long.
There are plenty of subplots taking place throughout the show. So much so that its nearly impossible to comprehend the entire situation in the course of one night. However, this is where the Tony-and-Tina magic happens: it seems all the more real.
The various rumors floating around about Tonys exploits and Tinas ex showing up to wreak havoc on the wedding are all plots with different characters to help push them along. And if youre a sharp enough audience member, you can be the one to create a new storyline and watch as the cast improvs the rest of the story.
The show used to take place at the Rio, but due to the growing popularity, it was forced to relocate to a larger arena. You can now find Tony and Tinas Wedding taking place at the mezzanine in Planet Hollywood. The entire cast is made up of over 20 members, and depending on the size of the audience, it can grow much larger.
The overall structure of Planet Hollywoods venue provides much better lighting and sound for the show. Overall, the venue makes it feel like theres a real wedding going on.
Like any long-running show in Vegas, the characters have to change from time to time. If you focus hard enough on the show, you can really tell the newcomers from the regulars by the lack of overall chemistry they have with the cast. However, this is yet another factor that adds to the true-to-life feeling of the wedding and the ensuing storyline.
The show lasts for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, during which time all guests will be allowed to hit the buffet line for some Italian pasta and chicken. You can eat with the actors and play right along with them while theyre in character. More than likely, you will be involved in a scene of your own - and thats the best part of Tony and Tinas Wedding.
