Penn & Teller in Las Vegas Headliner Magicians

Conspiracy theorists debunked, holistic remedies found to be fraudulent, and the words “Holy cow” were proven to be offensive. Who are the detectives on the case? It's none other than Vegas' own Penn & Teller.
Their hit Showtime late night series “Bullshit” is a number-one rated comedy for the magically talented duo. Penn, who's the tall and talking member of the duo, is sure to tell outlandishly loud tales with Teller, the short and silent “other” half of the duo sets up and carries out most of the tricks.
The two are currently playing at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Their show doesn't have some catchy name - they're Penn & Teller, they don't need one.
The show runs for over 90 minutes, during which time, Penn tries to remain true to his word that this show is unlike any you've seen in Vegas previously. Regulars of Penn & Teller may grow tired of their tricks after a few minutes.
They have a habit of doing some of the same stuff. But if you're never witnessed this pair in action, everything will seem wholly new and completely original. Even a trick like the sawed in half woman becomes unique when Penn yells out exactly how Teller's performing the trick.
That's always been a buzz-kill to “real” magicians. Not only do Penn & Teller do their tricks better than they do, but then they'll tell the audience exactly how they performed it. It's this antiestablishment attitude that has propelled the duo to super stardom. Your personal involvement with everything going on is really what makes the experience worth while.
Penn will challenge you to figure out how they're going to do the next trick. You'll look around, spot a few items, think you know the secret, and then boom… he does something completely different. Half of the trick is what they're promoting you to see; what they want you to see. But with the engaging climate, you never realized you're being tricked while being tricked. It's a great experience.
They're not all spastic with a few parlor tricks up their sleeves, either. Penn & Teller are really top-notch magicians who can perform illusions with the best of them. With their magic bullet trick, audience members are walked through a ton of preparation as they're let in on the dirty little secret.
They can make stuff disappear, and Penn can yell for 10 minutes and make your headache reappear. It's a give and a take. Penn is the extremely loud front-man, and Teller is like the Jimmy Page of this legendary magician tandem.
The only negative thing about a Penn & Teller show is that the material never seems to change. You can show up and hear a different story from Penn, but the tricks are basically all the same. Nevertheless, it's a must-see if you've yet to catch Penn & Teller in the flesh. Tickets are available for $85, and there's always a show playing right after if you happen to miss one.
