Do you Believe? A Criss Angel Show

We're all a little excited about seeing magic. When that guy at a party does a card trick, you immediately ask, “How'd you do that?” Of course, he never tells you. And the truth is you don't really want to know.
Every magic fan in the world knows who Criss Angel is. As the star of his own hit television show Mindfreak, Criss has done everything from walk on water to making pedestrians disappear.
His entire career is based on an extremely rare ability to make us question what is possible in the world. You watch Criss and know that it's just a trick, but you're not sure how it's not real. Team Angel's immense talents up with Cirque de Soleil and you have the makings of one of Vegas' greatest shows: Believe.
According to Criss, he's been planning this show for around 15 years. When you see it, you'll see that his time was extremely well spent. Believe is playing at the Luxor Hotel and Casino, and the beautiful theater does the show justice.
Like Mindfreak, Believe is a semi-creepy look into the mind of an enigma. It's dark and haunting, yet, somehow, ironically whimsical. His imagination paired with the acrobatic talents of Cirque's finest is hard to keep up with at times. And the thing that most people love about Criss's shows is they're not always scripted. He's quick to pull someone out of the audience whom he's never met and make a dead on prediction.
With the strobe lights, pyrotechnics, birds, smoke effects, and music, Believe is an assault on your senses. I'm sure you wouldn't want to show up and watch Believe if you suffer from epilepsy or any similar condition.
The show starts out with Criss accidentally ending up in a world of magical acrobats. He proceeds to do the usual Criss Angel tricks throughout the show, and even in front of a live audience, he can surprise the rehearsed Cirque performers.
A lot of Believe viewers are walking away with the same criticism. For some odd reason, they're convinced that the Cirque de Soleil dancers are people whom Criss Angel is magically levitating. Because of this misconception, people leave the theater appalled, thinking that the acrobats' safety cords were poorly hidden. Since Cirque de Soleil is actually a part of the show, I'm not sure why the cables showing would matter.
Believe is a great show if you like Criss Angel's brand of magic. For the people who've seen him in Vegas for years now, there's nothing overly spectacular about it. If you've never need a Criss Angel show but want to see acrobats anyway, you're killing two birds with one stone. Don't worry though, Criss makes plenty of birds appear on stage with him. Ticket prices average at around $100 and the Luxor Theater is absolutely beautiful.
