Top 5 gambling apps for the iPad

Just a few months ago, there were very few gambling apps for the iPad and although various casino apps are currently under construction, the options are still quite limited. It seems as though it’s mainly sportsbetting fans that have more choice when it comes to gambling on the iPad. There are currently more sportsbetting apps available than any other gambling app.

Other apps from companies such as Mecca bingo are now available and several poker apps are starting to appear such as the bet24 poker app, which is awesome. There were apps from other leading brands that could also have made it into our top five, but these ones that feature here marginally beat the other contenders for a top 5 spot in our list of best iPad gambling apps. These applications appear in no particular order of importance because there was no clear winner.

How to play Deal or No Deal online

Deal or No Deal is one of the UK’s most popular game shows. Hosted by the inimitable Noel Edmunds and broadcast by Channel 4, it features a single contestant pitted against the shadowy figure of the ‘banker’ as he or she tries to guess the amounts contained in a series of twenty-two identical sealed red boxes.

Each box contains a cash sum, ranging between 1p and £250,000, and through the course of the game the contestant eliminates the boxes one by one. After each elimination the banker offers the contestant a lump sum for the one box that remains in their possession throughout the game. They can either choose to ‘deal’ and accept the money, or opt for ‘no deal’ and continue playing.

Which branded slot games do we want to see this year

2011 was a great year for branded slots. They just keep getting better and better. The gameplay on most of these slots can be described as simply fantastic and the overall quality of the graphics and cutting edge animations often takes your breath away. The impressive sound effects and entertaining bonus rounds are also constantly evolving and becoming more creative with each new release.

It doesn’t look as though things are going to be any different in 2012. Top 3 movies featuring texas hold'em poker

If you love poker and also enjoy a good movie, you may have seen your own fair share of poker movies over the years, including classics from the 60’s and 70’s to the more recent movies of the 90’s and  2000’s, but if you haven’t seen the following three movies, you‘ve been missing out.

The top 3 movies that caught our attention and also seem to appear on most people’s list of must-see Texas Hold’em poker movies includes titles such as ‘High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story’ (otherwise known as ‘Stuey’), as well as ‘Lucky You’ featuring Eric Bana, Robert Duval and Drew Barrymore and possibly the best poker movie ever, ‘Rounder’s’ featuring Matt Damon and John Malcovic. This one also stars John Tuturro.

If there are three poker movies that everyone should see at one point in their life, these are the ones. Each one has a completely different plot but all revolve around the world’s most loved card game, Texas Hold’em. These movies are often underrated and certainly deserve more recognition.
