If you're looking for a grand hotel in Vegas,it doesn't get much more grand than Bally's Hotel and Casino on the world famous Las Vegas strip. Vegas, dubbed the adult's playground is the perfect place to get your glad rags on and have a real good time.
And one of the most fun attractions of Vegas is the plentiful shows for all tastes. Read on for a review of Jubilee! at Bally's Hotel and Casino.
Bally's is a gargantuan hotel with 2814 oversized luxurious rooms, each of at least 450 square feet in size. The hotel features a moving sidewalk covered in neon lighting, which transports customers from Las Vegas Boulevard to the entrance.
The hotel has two theatres. One of which, the Zeigfield, is home to the hit show Jubilee! It has been running for just under 30 years and is one of Las Vegas' most popular shows. Choreographed by Donn Arden, this masterpiece will blow you away.
The Zeigfield theatre was designed by Donn Arden himself, and has the largest stage in the world as well as the biggest back stage area.
This timeless classic production showcases teams of beautiful and sexy perfectly formed ladies in lavish burlesque costume. The million dollar sets are sure to amaze and astound with the Jubilee dancers who have been voted 'Best Showgirls' by the Vegas Review Journal.
Sketches include the harrowing story of the Titanic, the largest passenger steam ship of its time which sadly hit an iceberg and sank on its maiden voyage from Southampton, UK to New York in 1912.
Also the story of the destruction of the temple in Samson and Delilah is brought to life with a heartfelt performance. You can really connect with the characters as the tale is told of Samson being mocked when he entered the temple, and tore it down.
The show is not for those who are easily offended, as some of the showgirls do perform topless. However this is tastefully done and so is more of a cultural eye opener than anything else.
The $3 million set is spread across seven unforgettable acts, with hundreds of costumes designed by Bob Mackie a world famous fashion designer, and Pete Menefee, the leading costume designer in the United States.
The show offers all the glitz and glamour that you'd expect from any stage show in Vegas, and you'll feel like a million dollars just by watching this diamond studded concert. It's daring, extravagant and over the top. Just how we like it.
It features over 100 performers and 50 topless dancers that will stun you with every movement in this perfectly fashioned extravaganza. The dancers are extremely talented and will have you heading for the dance studios when you leave.
The elaborate finale with the famous red feather performance from the Jubilee show girls that will get your heart racing. It is a tribute to the Zeigfield Follies which was a series of Broadway performances from1907 - 1931.
