The Monaco Yacht Show
11 March 2010
The 19th annual Monaco Yacht Show was held September 23rd through the 26th. An estimated 30,000 people arrived over the three-day event, making it one of the busiest in recent memory in terms of foot traffic. However, this years show seemed to feature fewer businesses in attendance and fewer big yacht unveilings.
The lack of big-budget releases can be due to the economic downturn finally forcing even the rich and famous to tamp down their spending habits. It can also be to avoid negative publicity. Some publications love nothing more than to rail against the owners and companies of the newest and most lavish yachts, especially in times like these. It sells papers.
However, the event was far from a bust. An estimated 500 companies participated to showcase their latest offerings to the world of yachting. Not only do the companies have a welcoming and eager platform to unveil their latest builds, but it also gives them an opportunity to whet the appetites of potential buyers by divulging news and plans of future builds.

The Story of Abba, Swedens Top pop Band
10 March 2010
ABBA is undoubtedly one of Swedens top known pop bands in the world to this day. It has been over 20 years since they released their last album and the band split up, however their songs are still heard on the radio today.
All of this success leads us to question, who was ABBA, and how did the whole thing begin? All of the members of ABBA were fairly well established artists in the music scene in Sweden prior to forming the group.
The group itself consisted of two couples, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, and Bjrn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Fltskog. Andersson and Ulvaeus had worked together prior to meeting the girls and forming the band, while the girls had previously worked as solo artists.
The first song they released together as a band was People Need Love, which became a top hit in Sweden almost immediately after its release. At this point the band was simply called Bjrn & Benny, Agnetha & Anni-Frid. Later, in an effort to shorten the name of the band, while continuing to incorporate all of the members names, the abbreviation ABBA was decided upon.

Review of Eurocopter Dauphin AS-365N-3
09 March 2010
The Eurocopter AS365 is perhaps the most common model of helicopter in the air today. This mid-weight, multipurpose chopper runs on a twin-engine thats both lightweight and powerful, enabling sustained, fast flight with multiple passengers. The SA and AS class of Eurocopters are used for police and hospital use, news crews, business travel, and much more.
The particular model thats in production today is the Dauphin AS-365N-3. The version of the Eurocopter was developed specifically for hot and high circumstances, as theyre referred to. The 365N 3 is a highly upgraded version of the N 1, which was used throughout most of the 1990s in the same capacity as its successor.
The 365N 3 has Arriel 2C turboshafts that are equipped with fully automated digital electronic control (FADEC). The adoption of this turbine engine is what separates the N 3 and N 3+ series from its predecessors, and both engineers and pilots agree that its a significant improvement over previous models.
Why Online Slots are Often Preferable
08 March 2010
Slot games are among the most exciting forms of online gambling; instantly rewarding and a medium that is developing beyond its land based roots in the online world.
Slot Games may initially look easy, but with a clear house advantage jumping straight in on an online slot machine game can lead to losing money just trying to learn the ropes.
Gambling is supposed to be fun but entering with a losing streak is not the way to start a game in the right frame of mind to enjoy the risks and chances. Certainly it is always best to learn a game before you play it.
Top Las Vegas Shows - Terry Fator and his singing puppets
08 March 2010
Ventriloquists have long had their place in show business. Of course, some are better than others, and it doesnt take but a slip of the tongue literally - to go from the top of the world to the bottom of the dummy heap. For Terry Fator, his has been a road paved in gold, it seems, with TV spots, big-time endorsements, and an ongoing Vegas show at the Mirage.
Terry Fator is one of the most unique ventriloquists working in the entertainment world today. Not only is his delivery nearly flawless, with every dummy he uses having a distinct personality and voice, but Fator also adds singing into his act. This is something that no other famous ventriloquist has ever tried on this level and been successful.
Fator won the hit TV show Americas Got Talent in 2007 by wowing the judges with his impressive singing talent. Terry is able to keep completely tight-lipped while belting out such classics as I Got You Babe and, his show-winning number and Etta James mega hit, At Last.

Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championships - Munich 2010
07 March 2010
Some sports of the world are just too wild to comprehend unless you actually see them. A cross between ice hockey, boardercross and downhill skiing, the Red Bull Crashed Ice races are more like something you might see Arnold Schwarzengegger starring in rather than a legitimate sport. This fast and fantastic sport is real, however, and it leaves spectators floored.
The Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championship took place in Munich, Germany earlier this year, and the city was absolutely enthralled to see the action.
Much like a science fiction, futuristic dream sequence, ramps, jumps and other obstacles were built overtop of the citys streets. The fans lined up alongside to watch the racers compete up close.
The Olympic Park, famed for Munichs 1972 Olympic Games, was literally transformed into a winter wonderland for the race. The track was designed to be easy enough to navigate to prevent any untimely crashes, but still steep enough to propel skaters to speeds of over 50 kilometers per hour before jumping or turning.

World’s Most Luxurious Hotels - Palazzo Verace on the Gold Coast, Australia
06 March 2010
Australias Gold Coast is certainly one of the most popular vacation destinations in the world. With an average of over 240 days of sunshine every year, the sub-tropical climate of the Gold Coast is appealing to almost every vacationer. So when Versace wanted to build a luxury resort, Australias sunny locale was the perfect spot for it.
The Palazzo Versace is easily the best fashion-brand resort in existence. Other popular names in fashion have tried the same branching out, but have failed with overtly cheesy efforts to brand their name on subpar properties. With the Palazzo, guests are treated to the epitome of luxury and elegance in a location that speaks for itself.
The outside view of the Palazzo Versace alone is enough to make any reputable list of top resorts. With towering palm trees, luxurious pools and separate buildings overlooking the spectacularly clear harbor, the property can be described as nothing less than breathtaking.
Top Vegas Shows - Free Beer! The Improv Show
05 March 2010
Comedy shows have always had a tight grip around the neck of Las Vegas. Even famous acts like The Rat Packfeaturing Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra - offered guests a lot more than crooner classics. Their shows delivered some great comedy sketches and even some legitimate improve. Following in those footsteps is Vegas Free Beer! The Improv Show.
Its always extremely difficult to describe an improv show in any type of general terms; i.e. good, bad, entertaining, etc. This is due to the nature of improvisation comedy: theres never any set stage or routine, per se; there are simply some talented improvisation comedians who feed off of one another and deliver original skits.
For Free Beer! The Improv Show in particular, its very similar to the UKs and Americas hit show Whose Line is it Anyway, where a cast of comedians, directed by a host, take audience suggestions and play out different scenarios on a whim. The spirit of Free Beer is certainly along those same lines.

Different parts of the world - specially in Europe - embrace the racing culture and there, millions of dollars are invested in building tracks and stadiums for racers to compete, but few ever thought that the Middle East would host an F1 event. Most to the sports surprise, however, Gulf Air sponsored the Bahrain Grand Prix and it became the first F1 race to take place in the region.
The Bahrain International Circuit, with its immense popularity, opened up the door for other Middle Eastern territories to begin plans of hosting their own races. The United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Lebanon are all vying to be the next countries to hold a Formula One circuit race within their borders.
